my i pod was plugged in when this woman barged into the office.

being the first person anyone would see the moment they find their way to the main office, the woman walked towards me and asked to meet the HR manager.

you know some people are really funny? im sure it was very obvious that i was listening to my i pod. didnt it occur to her at all that i might not hear her? she didnt even bother to speak louder.
she's lucky my music wasnt very loud.

im not saying im annoyed or anything that she interrupted my music (which would be very reasonable to feel so actually haha). it's just that it's only common sense that if you want to talk to someone who has earplugs in his/her ears then the least you should do before you talk to that person is to get that person's attention and then wait for him/her to remove the earplugs first. if not you'll just end up jacking yourself if after all the babbling the person just goes "HUH?"

and isnt it basic courtesy also? for all you know i might be really, seriously, enjoying my music and then you just come into the office and talk to me like that.
