my tutee has been going on and on about my cursive handwriting for quite some time already and last monday she just decided to imitate it! she started to write in an awkward, twitching kind of way so i looked over to check for a bit and much to my annoyance, i realised she was actually trying awfully hard to link all her alphabets up.
so i say 'why are you trying to write in cursive handwriting? it's not for you.' she then replied with a 'then how come you can?'

i know imitation is the greatest form of flattery, but all i can say is that she doesnt know what she's getting herself into, cos so far ive received more criticisms than compliments for my handwriting! (not that im the least bothered by that, HEH!)
